Billing and payments

What's free and what costs money, how you pay, where your receipts are, how to change or cancel a subscription — and exactly what happens if a payment doesn't go through.

What's free and what costs money

Most of Ullbek is free, and you never need a card to start. There are three things you can pay for, and each one is optional.

Free, forever

Building and free hosting

Build and preview without limits, publish to your yoursite.ullbek.site address with HTTPS included. No subscription, no card. Free sites carry a small “Built with Ullbek” badge.

Pay as you go

AI credits

Every account starts with a free credit that covers your first builds. When it runs low, top up with a credit pack — a one-time purchase, no subscription. Credits are shared by every site in your workspace.

Monthly, per site

Premium Hosting

Your site on your own domain, no badge, priority support. Billed monthly per site and renews automatically until you cancel. The current price is on the pricing section and at checkout.

Yearly, per domain

Domain names

Buy a .com, .net or .org right in the chat. Each domain is its own simple yearly plan — you see the exact price for the name before you buy, and it renews yearly until you cancel.

You only pay for what you switch on

A free site stays free. Premium Hosting is per site, so you can have one site on your own domain and five others on free addresses. Credits are the only thing every builder eventually buys, and only when the free credit runs out.

How you pay

Every payment goes through a secure Stripe checkout — the same payment company behind millions of online businesses. When you buy credits, go Premium, or buy a domain, Ullbek opens a Stripe page; you pay there, and Stripe sends you back. Ullbek never sees or stores your card details.

What you can pay with depends on where you are. Checkout shows the options available in your country automatically. Everywhere, you can use:

Visa Mastercard American Express Apple Pay Google Pay Link STRIPE'S ONE-TAP

In many countries, Checkout also offers the way people already pay locally — for example:

iDEAL NETHERLANDS Bancontact BELGIUM EPS AUSTRIA BLIK POLAND Satispay ITALY MB WAY PORTUGAL Klarna Pix BRAZIL SEPA Direct Debit EUROZONE · HOSTING

If a local method exists for your country and it isn't listed here, it may still appear at checkout — the list above is what people use most.

Paying by bank debit (SEPA)

In the eurozone you can pay for Premium Hosting straight from your bank account with SEPA Direct Debit. Your site goes Premium immediately — you don't wait for the bank. The debit itself takes a few business days to clear, which is normal for SEPA. Bank debits are offered for hosting only; credits and domains are paid by card, wallet or an instant local method.

Prices and currencies

Prices are set in US dollars, and Premium Hosting also has a euro price for customers in Europe. Checkout picks the right one for where you are. In many other countries, Stripe can show the price in your local currency too, so you know exactly what you'll pay before you confirm — you'll see this on the checkout page itself.

Domain prices vary by name and ending (.com, .net, .org). Ask for a domain in the chat and Ullbek shows you the exact yearly price before anything is charged.

Taxes

Prices don't include any taxes or duties that may apply where you live. Your bank statement will show the charge under the name ULLBEK.

Receipts and invoices

Stripe emails you a receipt for every payment — credit top-ups, each monthly hosting charge, and each yearly domain renewal — to the email address on your account. Nothing to set up.

Need a proper invoice for your accountant? Open Manage billing from the Billing page of your dashboard. It lists every invoice with a PDF you can download, and the billing details (business name, address, tax ID) that appear on them.

Managing a subscription

Everything about your subscriptions lives in one place — the Billing page in your dashboard, and its Manage billing button, which opens your secure Stripe billing portal.

  1. Change your card or payment method

Manage billing → Payment methods. Add a new card or account, make it the default, and remove the old one. Future renewals use the new one automatically.

  2. Cancel Premium Hosting for a site

Manage billing → Subscriptions → Cancel. Your site stays Premium until the end of the month you've already paid for, then moves back to its free .ullbek.site address. Nothing is deleted, and your site stays online.

  3. Change your mind before it ends

A cancelled subscription can be resumed any time before the period ends — from the Billing page or from the site's Manage panel. You can also subscribe again later; the free address keeps working in between.

  4. Stop a domain from renewing

Domains renew yearly. Cancel the domain's plan in Manage billing and it simply won't renew — you keep it until the year you've paid for runs out.

"Cancelling never deletes anything. Your site keeps its free address and everything you built — you can come back to Premium whenever you like."

If a payment doesn't go through

Cards expire, banks block things, accounts run low — it happens. Here's exactly what Ullbek does, so there are no surprises.

A monthly or yearly renewal fails

Stripe retries the payment over the following days and emails you. Your site stays Premium during that time. If the payment still can't be collected after the retries, Premium Hosting ends and the site goes back to its free .ullbek.site address — still online, still yours. Fix the payment method in Manage billing and you can subscribe again in one click.

A bank debit bounces

If you paid for hosting by SEPA Direct Debit and your bank returns the first payment, we email you straight away with a link to pay another way — card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a different account. Your site keeps its Premium address for 7 days while you sort it out. If it's still unpaid after that, the subscription ends and the site returns to its free address.

A credit top-up fails

Nothing is charged and nothing changes — your balance stays as it was. Try again with another payment method whenever you like.

Your site is never deleted over a payment

The worst that happens is your site goes back to its free address and loses the Premium extras. Your pages, images and settings are untouched, and the free address keeps serving your visitors.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a card to start?
No. Sign up, build and publish on a free address with no payment details at all. You only reach a checkout when you choose to buy credits, go Premium or buy a domain.
Does Ullbek store my card?
No. Payment details are entered on Stripe's page and held by Stripe. Ullbek only learns that a payment succeeded. Stripe is certified to the highest level of the card industry's security standard (PCI DSS Level 1).
Can I pay with PayPal?
Not at the moment. Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and the local methods above are available. In the eurozone, SEPA Direct Debit covers paying for hosting from a bank account.
Why is the price in another currency?
Checkout shows the price in the currency that fits your location — euros in Europe, and your local currency in many other countries. The amount you see on the checkout page is what you'll be charged.
Can my business be on the invoice?
Yes. Open Manage billing and add your business name, address and tax ID under billing details. They appear on every invoice from then on, and you can download past invoices as PDFs.
Do credits expire?
Purchased credits don't expire while your account is active. The free starter credit lasts 12 months. Credits are shared across every site in your workspace, so nothing is tied to one site.
What does the charge look like on my statement?
As ULLBEK, followed by what it was for — for example ULLBEK CREDITS, or the name of the site or domain on a subscription.

Need a hand with billing?

If anything about a payment, a charge or a subscription doesn't look right — a receipt you can't find, a charge you don't recognise, a subscription that didn't cancel, a domain that didn't renew — email support@ullbek.com. A real person reads every message. Include the email address on your Ullbek account and, if you have it, the date and amount of the charge, and we'll sort it out with you.

Ready when you are
