Connecting your Instagram
"Connecting needs a professional account"
Your Instagram is a personal account, and Instagram only lets apps connect to Business or Creator accounts. Switch in Instagram (profile → ☰ → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account), then tap Connect Instagram in the chat again. Switching makes a private account public; the full steps and that caveat are here. Or skip connecting and share photos into the chat instead.
I tapped Allow and I'm stuck on the Connected page
You're connected; the page is just a confirmation. Inside Instagram, a web page can't close itself, so tap the ✕ at the top of the screen. You'll be back in your chat, where Ullbek has already written to say what came in.
A page says "That did not work"
Instagram didn't finish the connection, for example because you tapped Cancel. Go back to your chat: Ullbek says whether the connection went through and what to do next. If it didn't, tap Connect Instagram once more and allow it.
Instagram asks about "Ullbek-IG"
That's us. It's the name our app is registered under at Instagram, and it's also how Ullbek appears in your Instagram settings under Apps and websites.
It connected, but no posts came in
Your account has no posts yet, or none Ullbek could bring in. Post on Instagram as usual and message Ullbek afterwards, or share photos straight into the chat.

Ullbek went quiet after it started building
That's normal. A whole first site takes about ten to fifteen minutes and changes a few, and Ullbek stays quiet while it works. It messages you as soon as it's done. If you're curious, ask "how's it going?": it checks and tells you.
It's been a long time and nothing arrived
Send a message; Ullbek checks on the build and answers. If more than 24 hours have passed since your last message, Instagram doesn't let Ullbek write to you, so the news goes to your email instead (if your email is on your account). Check your inbox for a message from Ullbek.
I don't see the tap buttons or the colour cards
Instagram on a computer, at instagram.com, doesn't show tap-to-answer buttons and shows some cards as "Unsupported message". Use the Instagram app on your phone for the full experience, or just type your answer: for colours, reply with the palette's number.
The site opens inside Instagram
Links in a chat open in Instagram's own browser, which is exactly how your customers will see your site when they tap your bio link. To open it in your phone's usual browser instead, use the ••• menu at the top and choose to open it in your browser.
Ullbek wants an email before it puts my site live
Your site's contact form sends visitors' messages to that address, your receipts go there, and it's how Ullbek reaches you once the chat has gone quiet. It's asked for once, with a six-digit code to check it's yours.
Photos
I shared photos into the chat. Where did they go?
Each photo is saved with your website, and Ullbek is told it's there. Say where you'd like it used ("put this on the home page") and Ullbek makes the change. See Sharing photos into the chat.
My newest post isn't on my site
New posts come in the next time you message Ullbek, and your site only changes when you ask. Message Ullbek and say what to do with the new post.
I want one of my own photos instead of a made-up one
Ask Ullbek to show you your photos and tap This one on the picture you want, or describe it ("the one with the blue glaze"). Ullbek swaps it in.
Common questions
Does Ullbek post on my Instagram?
No. It can't post, comment, like or read your other messages. Connecting gives read-only access to your own profile and posts; see what Ullbek reads.
Does connecting make my posts public?
Connecting doesn't change who can see your posts. (Switching a private personal account to a professional one does make it public; that's Instagram's rule, not ours.)
Is it really free to start?
Yes. New accounts get free credit for a first site and a round or two of changes, asking questions never costs anything, and a site live on its free ullbek.site address stays free. Ullbek always names a price before charging anything. See pricing.
Can I build more than one site?
Each Instagram chat looks after one website. For more, sign in on the web, where one account can hold several sites.
How do I disconnect, or delete my data?
Remove Ullbek-IG under Settings → Apps and websites in Instagram. See Disconnecting and Deleting your data.
Still stuck?
Tell Ullbek in the chat what's happening; most things can be sorted there. For anything it can't fix (a payment problem, a legal question, something that looks broken), email support@ullbek.com. A person reads every message and replies by email, usually within a day.
