A real custom site, or the template you can't leave?
Wix gives you 900+ templates, a drag-and-drop editor and a huge App Market. Ullbek gives you a blank canvas and builds the site around your business. Here's the honest difference — and who each one is for.
You need the Wix App Market (bookings, restaurant ordering, memberships), a full online store with inventory, or you enjoy arranging blocks yourself.
You want a site that looks and feels like your business — its mood, its personality — rather than a template with your logo on it; you'd rather describe changes than make them; and you don't want ads on a free site.
Prices are Wix's published list prices as of October 2026, billed yearly unless noted — they change, so check Wix's pricing page before you decide. Ullbek's are on our pricing page.
You're not a template.
Neither should your website be.
Ullbek designs your site around your business and the mood you describe — the type, the palette, the rhythm of every page — then builds it, page by page, until it feels like you. That's the whole difference, and every row below comes back to it.
Every one of them already used by thousands of other sites.
Rearrange sections, swap the stock photos, then tidy the mobile view separately.
On a wixsite.com address. From $19/mo, billed yearly, to remove the ads and connect a domain.
Say what the site is for, who it's for and how it should feel. Ullbek asks what it needs to know.
Each page is designed, written and checked in a real browser as you watch. Say what to change.
Free on a .ullbek.site address, or on your own domain with Premium.

Wix has hundreds of apps for bookings, ordering, events and more. Ullbek has none — if a page needs something, the builder makes it, but there's no catalogue to browse.
Ullbek builds product pages that link out to where you already sell. If you need inventory, shipping rules and a basket, Wix Stores is the more complete tool.
You change an Ullbek site by asking. Most people prefer it; some want to nudge a box three pixels themselves. Why we built it this way →
Wix launched in 2006. Ullbek launched in June 2026. Wix has more integrations, more languages, more of everything — except a way out of the template.
Say the site should feel like a Sunday-morning bakery, a late-night studio or a quiet law office, and Ullbek designs for that feeling — typeface, colour, spacing, the way the page breathes. A template was finished before you arrived; it can only be itself with your logo on it.
A menu that reads like a menu. A gallery that behaves like a gallery. A booking note where a visitor actually looks for it. Ullbek makes design decisions a designer would make, for your pages specifically — not a kit of blocks that stops where the kit stops.
A Wix site can only be what its template allows. Ullbek builds each page around your business, so a wine bar doesn't look like a dentist with the photos swapped.
Both free tiers carry branding, but Wix shows ads on your pages. Ullbek's free site carries a small badge and nothing else.
“Make the menu a two-column grid with prices on the right.” Done, in front of you. No editor to learn, no mobile view to repair afterwards.
Ullbek Premium is $12 per site per month, paid monthly. Wix's headline prices are for yearly billing; pay monthly and the same plan costs more.
Wix is the safer pick if you need its App Market or a full store. Ullbek is the better pick if you want a site that's yours in design and in mood, free without ads, and changeable by asking.
There's no import button, and Wix doesn't let you export a site. What works well: give Ullbek your Wix address. It reads your public pages — the text, the structure, what you sell — and builds a fresh site from them. You bring the photos you own.
Wix's AI builder asks a few questions and fills in a Wix template, which you then edit in the Wix editor. It's a faster way to get a template. Ullbek doesn't have a template to fill in; it designs the site around what you describe, and you change it by describing again.
To publish on your own domain: Wix Light is $19/mo billed yearly ($228 a year) and more if you pay monthly; Ullbek Premium is $12/mo ($144 a year), paid monthly. Building an Ullbek site uses AI credits — a free credit covers your first builds, then one-time packs. Full pricing →
Neither tool ranks you — your content and the sites linking to you do. Both give you clean titles, descriptions and a sitemap. Ullbek writes the page text around your actual business, which is a better starting point than template filler.
